The Center for Security Studies (CSS) at ETH Zürich is a center of competence for Swiss and interna-tional security policy. It offers security policy expertise in research, teaching, and consultancy. (More information can be found at: www.css.ethz.ch  At present, the Center is seeking to hire a Student Library Coordinator who will help us diversify and expand the CSS website’s Digital Library.

As a member of our Resources Team, you will contribute to the maintenance and diversification of the CSS’ Digital Library. You will gather, catalogue and index resources provided by assorted international relations and security studies organizations. (Note: The cataloguing includes writing original abstracts that describe the resource’s content)

To work in this team you will need to be a hard-working student with an excellent academic record in international relations, political science or a related discipline. You should also be an adaptable and analytical thinker; have outstanding writing skills and an affinity for IT; be well-organized; be a team player who can also work independently. In addition to excellent spoken and written English, which is an absolute must, proficiency in German is desired. Knowledge of another language would be advantageous.
